Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Buying this EP already pays off because of the brilliant "Falling Up" alone, which is an outtake (!) from "Angels' Abacus". Another reason is that it contains fragments from Emily Bezar's avantgarde suite "Grit to the Wire". Originally planned to be a five-movement, 15-minute opus for "Four Walls Bending", three studio-recorded parts are available to date: Part 2 here ("Arial At The Gate"), part 1 ("Circus Ponies") and part 3 ("Blinkers Off") on the recently released EP "Blow the Brakes Out". Favorite track: Falling Up.

Alan Hall After you've bought all of Emily's other albums, this will complete the collection. Fabulous vocals in her totally original style. Love it! Favorite track: Rest Me Here Live.

Falling Up 05:21
FALLING UP by Emily Bezar © 2004 Blue Countess Music, BMI my four eyes, my many bones are my soul's disguise when I'm alone chain of fire now wraps around and burns the ground 'neath all that I desire I'm holding fast like a finger through the wedding band on this hand of fate I pass when there's no more time for love in the wrecking stages you'll still be all I'm dreaming of and I'm falling.... don't keep me mourning like that dove these are broken cages in this life here, in this life here in this life here I am falling, falling falling up drain these tears, bottle them and seal them well a solvent for my fears birds don't care, if you take their day or night still they find the air when there's no more time for love in the wrecking stages you'll still be all I'm dreaming of and I'm falling.... don't keep me mourning like that dove these are broken cages in this life here, in this life here in this life here I am falling, falling falling up it is gonna be fine, it is gonna be fine, it is gonna be fine but when you gonna be mine, when you gonna be mine when you gonna be mine all mine? take me home, i've cheated on the battlefield but love like this there's so much more to say I may be wrong but look who is free-falling here... falling up through my arms falling up through my arms today

REST ME HERE by Emily Bezar © 1993 Blue Countess Music, BMI oh love, rest me here love, rest me near love in your arms oh love, rest my years love as they go down spilling charms I wake, but the dawn wants you standing alone and the wreckage of this wood mansion feels like stone oh love, rest your fears love, let your candles all dissolve oh love, rest those riddles that our prophets cannot solve I wake, but the dawn tempts me blind with her throne and the wreckage of this wood mansion feels like stone
